Liu Qian Beef Soup in West Central District

Waited for two and a half hours during the Qingming long weekend but the beef and soup were well worth it. NT$120 for this bowl of beef soup is also a steal.

Taste is ok, price is a bit expensive for such a small bowl. I saw other customers eat the soup together with a bowl of rice.

You have to come here and line up at 4 or 5. The earlier the better. And yes, I am not crazy, but the taste of the beef soup at this place is. It’s delicious AF that people are willing to come here barely awake and line up for it. So suck it up grow some balls and line up for it, maybe a can of monster or red bull will help you out.

Got there at around 10am, sliced beef soup sold out... Instead had their beef tendon soup. Soup was great had really beefy flavor, beef tendon was cooked to the right tenderness.

Totally worth waiting. Because I spent an hour waiting for an average beep soup.

They said they were closed or finished serving at about 1030am and not too friendly. Try the one 5 min away near the river

Arrived around 8am and had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat, tasty beef broth, tender rare beef, a bowl of rice and heaps of ginger and chili all for under £3, whats not to like! No queue when we left around 9am.

You must wake up earlier, and arrived this restaurant before 6am. The beef was got around 2-3 am, and ship to Tainan downtown. This fresh beef is best in the world.

Strong beef taste. Better come around 3.30 to take number (limited for 30 group) and come again around 5am to eat. The earlier you come, the more dense taste you will get. If you queue without number, i can make sure you will get an “average” beef soup because they will add more water to their soup

If you are doing bar hubbing around 海安路 for all night or you are in insomnia, strongly recommend you to wait in the line for this beef soup in 4 AM. It’s really nice beef soup for breakfast and cure for hangover

$120 for a small bowl of beef soup. Heard that you have to go super early but we went at 8am on a Saturday and it was still available. Most people get a bowl of rice to eat with the beef else the soup by itself doesn’t really fill you up.

Arrived at 0558, got a seat at 0709, food served at 0718. Tastes good but I wouldn't say it is worth the wait.

I waited for 40 minutes even so early from 06:43. Ordinary beef I think it's too chewy. I had better one and doesn't need to wait for soooo long. I think it's not worth waiting. You could save your time and money.

You should go to the restaurant as early as possible. Probably, 5 a.m. in the morning is the best time. The queue was so long, so I had to wait almost 1 hour. In my opinion, the taste of beef soup is just okay. In my personal preferences, it probably needs more spices.

Didn’t wait for more than 5 minutes on a Sunday morning around 7am. I think the beef soup was superb! Will want to travel all the way to Tainan from the other end of Taiwan for this shop. Service was good too.

Waiting for too long... The soup is great but beef....
